Inspired by the history of our former « Master’s House », Jacques Muray, interior designer, recognised in the Cantal for his creativity and attention to detail, reinvents the space of these rooms, creating a warm, aesthetic and original universe: well-being is at the zenith in these rooms with warm colours and designer bathrooms.

Inspiré par le passé de notre ancienne « maison de maître », Jacques Muray, architecte d’intérieur, reconnu dans le Cantal pour sa créativité et son attention, réinvente l’espace de ces chambres , crée un univers chaleureux, esthétique et original : le bien être est au zénith dans ces chambres aux couleurs chaudes et salles de bain design.

… slow food, fresh mornings and sultry summer evenings
on the silver star sparkling terrace
Each day, harvesting from Mathieu’s creative gardens, the market, the season, our local producers, most of them using organic or sustainable agricultural methods, the Aurillac organic co-operative, all inspire dinners that I concoct and share with my guests. Balance, discovery and fantasy but also recipe exchange will be on the menu of our relaxed and convivial dining occasions.
The breakfasts will awaken your taste buds : farmhouse cured meats, local cheeses – ‘young’ or matured, farm yogurts, fresh organic fruits and vegetables, fruit juice and organic butter, preserves made by Martine, “Farinettes” or “Fouaces” made with Orange blossom water, Ségala honeys … all kick start a dynamic day, with satisfied guests in good humour.
… In the evening, the table d’hôte takes its ingredients from its terroir (remember to reserve when booking the room).
Our dinners are friendly moments; The host table is open from tuesday to saturday according to the reservations, closed on sunday and monday nights : Please, think about reserving the table when booking the room.
Either taken at a large communal table, alone or just for two … as you wish – everyone has their own preference!

On vous quitte avec regret, mais avec le sentiment d’avoir été chez nous, heureux de partager votre maison, votre cuisine, vos paroles amicales. C’était ce que nous voulions…et nous avons bien noté qu’il y avait un weekend end « ressourcement » organisable, un jour ou l’autre, avec yoga, massages et tout et tout… Amitié.
Quel repos et quelle tranquillité ! Deux jours merveilleux dans ce havre de paix avant notre retour en Asie à Singapour. Nous sommes ressourcés et prêts à replonger dans les tumultes et la frénésie du Sud Est asiatique !
Nous sommes venus par hasard mais nous n’avons pas été déçus ! Charme, calme et harmonie sont les maîtres mots de votre jolie adresse que nous garderons en mémoire et transmettrons aux nôtres ! Bon courage à tous
